This article describes the case of a suicide in a middle school in New Hampshire. The authors admit they were not prepared for this tragedy, & outline postvention actions to help others in preparation. Some of their ideas include forming a crisis team, & creating inservice training programs for staff. They also include 10 steps for rendering psychological aid to a suicidal student. (VM)
