Suicide seemed the most logical solution to the personal & academic problems of the author when she was a college student. The author sets out the logical premise that led her to this solution, analyzes the factors that she applied to that premise & describes her attempt in detail. After a thwarted attempt, she sought help from one of the college psychotherapists. Through therapy the author came to realize just how illogical her apparently logical attempt was.
