Describes the use of reality therapy in treating a graduating female college student who displayed depressive behaviors, including attempted suicide, because of her fear of job hunting. Treatment consisted of 8 weekly sessions & involved monitoring the number of interactions with the S’s friends & the number of interviews conducted by the S in the previous week. Posttreatment scores indicated that the S chose depressing behavior less often & was becoming more responsible for her behavior.
