This article provides female & male suicide rates in the U.S.A. by state. The author discusses the sociological variables which are associated with female suicide, the male-to-female suicide ratio, as well as variables which help predict self-destructive rates vary greatly among the states, increases are found with higher incidences of divorced & mobile people.
