This article describes the case of a 28-year-old man who attempted to hang himself, & was admitted to a hosptial in deeply comatose state. His medical condition is described. The serial electorcardiograms (ECGs) showed the characteristic T-wave changes, & QT prolongation. Over a period of time, the U waves reverted to normal. (VM)
