Abstract
A Longitudinal Follow-Up Study of 583 Attempted Suicides, Based on Hungarian Material
Zonda T
The author of this study investigated all cases of attempted suicide in a 10-year period in 3 country districts in Hungary. In Hungary, as elsewhere, people who have attempted suicide are at a higher risk of committing suicide later; however, the distribution of this risk is different among various groups. For example, people with depressive disorders are at high risk for completed suicide, whereas adolescents are at a low risk for further suicidal behavior. (VM)
