This article discusses homicide & suicide among the Basoga of southeastern Uganda. Both homicide & suicide are viewed negatively. Private revenge is not tolerated, & disputes must be taken to the courts. Rates of suicide & homicide are included, & are broken down by method, sex, age, & reason for the act.
