This article provides a detailed international epidemiology on suicide & attempted suicide. Country by country variation is shown, as well as international changes in suicide rates. Rates are also broken down by age & sex. The authors explain a number of factors–such as unemployment, divorce rates, homicide rates, & alcoholism–which help explain variations & trends in suicide rates in various countries.
