This letter to the editor is written by a doctor who has managed 6 HIV patients, who have requested psychotropic drugs in order to stockpile them, & eventually use them to commit suicide. The author asserts giving these patients drugs is a form of assisted suicide, & the issue of stockpiling drugs among HIV patients & other patients should be recognized & discussed openly. (VM)
