This study tests the hypothesis that 4 factors – severe aggression, suicidal ideation/behavior, reported suspicions of child abuse, & a history of parental substance abuse – predict a poor outcome in a child’s inpatient treatment. The authors find that the parent related variables, & not the child variables are more often related to a poor outcome. (VM)
