This case history describes the childhood & adolescence of Jody White, who shot himself at age 17. His parents divorced when he was 14. His father attempted a reconciliation, but his mother refused. His father eventually shot himself. Jody later committed suicide in a similar fashion, & like his father, said the cause was the failed reconciliation (in his suicide note). (VM)
