To find operational symptoms common to depressive behavior, a study of 46 patients who demonstrated depressive symptoms was performed. A number of psychiatric, psychological & biochemical rating scales were used. The study suggests that anhedonia, suicide ideation & DEX-nonsuppression may aid in identifying a subgroup of depressed patients. (VM)
