This article documents the life of movie star, Judy Garland. Garland was addicted to drugs, attempted suicide numerous times, & eventually died from an overdose of sleeping pills. Her daughter (Liza Minelli) & her biographer believe her death was an accident, but the author of this article disagrees. The author describes Garland’s childhood, her chronic alcohol & drug abuse, severe depressions, suicidal behavior, & problems in marriages & friendships. (VM)
