This study attempts to discover if there is any correlation between weather, day of week, housing conditions & an increased rate of suicide. The author found no significant relation between weather & suicide attempts but did discover that suicide attempters were more likely to live in temporary structures- in which many inhabitants were new immigrants. As well, suicides by housewives were highest on Sundays. No evidence of social contagion was found. (VM)
