Presents the case of a 39 year old woman who attempted suicide by ingesting an overdose of fluoxetine. This case supports previous reports (e.g. J F Wernicke; see PA Vol 73:7272) that the toxicity of an overdose of fluoxetine is much less than that of commonly prescribed antidepressants. (2 refs.)
