This article provides a case study of a family, the Milton’s, psychotherapy. Their 17 year-old-son, Andy, had committed suicide. The author describes each family member’s reaction to Andy’s suicide, from apathy, guilt & grief to failure. As well, 6 months after therapy began, the mother was tracked down by a son she had given up for adoption, which created further tension between the husband & wife. Courses of therapy are provided by two doctors, E.J. Dunne & C.E. Messersmith. (VM)
