In this study, the suicide attitude questionnaire (SUIATT) was administered to 712 people from 17 communities in The Netherlands. The test asks questions about the respondents probability of suicide, if suicide is a right, whether they would assist the suicide of someone who was terminally ill, etc. Differences between social groups – based on age, gender, marital status, level of education, religion, occupation, & political affiliation – are discussed.
