Presents preferrred treatment methods for behaviors of adolescents in acute or chronic care facilities. Behavior modification therapy is the preferred treatment method in many chronic care programs, while psychotherapy is generally used in acute care. Music therapy is useful for bridging the communication gap & as a relaxation technique & its nonthreatening manner makes it an excellent “sneak” therapy. An example is presented of sequential music therapy programming for adolescents.
