The Pilot Study on Attempted Suicides
This pilot study examined 1120 cases of attempted suicide in 7 European countries. All statistics are listed per country. Sex-age distributions of the attempters are given, with females outnumbering males at the care centers. Living status, occupation & method of suicide attempt are also detailed. Most people used poisoning. Percentages of people who were visited during the week after admission are given. Services accessed before & after the attempt are listed (e.g. consulted family doctor).
