Prevention, Intervention and Subsequent Action (Postvention) in Suicidal Behaviour

The author of this article asserts that since there are limited resources for suicidal patients, we must differentiate & classify both suicidal behaviour & the help available. To aid in this, the author discusses the “disease” model of suicidal behaviour, & primary, secondary, & tertiary prevention, as well as the behavioural model & prevention, intervention, & postvention.
