This article provides a biography of artist, Dora Carrington (1893-1932). She had difficult childhood, but enjoyed her college years. Dora’s first lover was Lytton Strachey. She later married Ralph Partridge. Dora, Ralph, & Lytton all lived together. All 3 had many affairs, & Dora had her first lesbian affair in 1923. She drank heavily, & had nightmares which plagued her throughout her life. Lytton died in 1932, & Dora shot herself 2 months later. It was ruled an accident. (VM)
