Robinson A D T~~Duffy J C
Compares injury & poisoning episodes at the Regional Poisoning Treatment Centre, Edinburgh from 1980-86. When demographic differences were controlled for, injury was found to be more highly associated with variables that consistently predict repetition than was poisoning. Suggests that injury patients require continued support with emphasis on changing behaviors such as problem drinking. 58 refs.
