Roberts A R
This chapter reports a study of suicide prevention agencies aimed at delineating the specific crisis intervention activities operated, the initial procedures used in crisis interventions, & the kind of resources to which clients are referred. A conclusion of the study is that suicide prevention/intervention agencies are crucial because they are concerned with saving the lives of a large number of people who are on the brink of self-destruction.
