Using mail questionnaires, 396 programs serving suicidal adolescents were surveyed including crisis telephone services & walk-in clinics. Topics investigated included visibility of programs & funding sources. The authors found that services for suicidal adolescents are not centralized. Problems of existing programs include poor record keeping, low program visibility & lack of written standards for service. (CM)
