A selective & arbitrary review of literature pertaining to behavioral factors that are signs of suicide. Behavioral factors are those acts & actions engaged in by a person that indicate the potential for a self-destructive act to occur in the future. The paper focuses on studies whose subjects are aged 20, or less, & involved in completed or attempted suicide. The studies are grouped on the basis of the presence or absence of control or comparison groups. (CM)
