Sociodemographic, Epidemiologic, and Individual Attributes (IN: Report of the Secretary’s Task Force on Youth Suicide. Volume 2: Risk Factors for Youth Suicide)

The purpose of theis paper is twofold. First, epidemiologic data related to suicide among adolescents are presented & evaluated. Second, the potential for the prediction of youth suicide on an epidemiologic level is discussed. The focus is on completed suicide with an emphasis on 15-24 year olds. The paper is divided into 6 sections: introduction, literature, methodology, data, discussion & future research. (CM)
