Carried Out His Plan 10 Years Later

Edward M. Brecher, science, social, & medical author, wrote in 1979 that he had cancer & argued that he had the right to end his life when & how he chose. This he did in 1989 after his disease returned. The 1979 article by Brecher was a a factor in the founding of the Hemlock Society in 1980. (CM)
