This study tried to determine the effectiveness of a suicide awareness curriculum & to assess 2 methods of presenting the info. It was hypothesized students receiving lectures & handouts would score sig. higher than students who only received handouts. Variables included the Suicide Prevention Questionnaire, Knowledge of Suicide Test, Suicide Intervention Response Inventory & specific suicide vignettes. Results suggest lectures were instrumental in increased performance on the KOST & vignettes.
