Suicide Increase Worries Teachers

The increase in the rate of adolescent suicide in Quebec has concerned teachers. This has led the main teachers union to grant Fondation JEVI, a suicide prevention program, $35,000 to train teachers & youths to recognize & help suicidal students. The union has also produced a vido to help demystify suicide & they have plans to make a prevention guide available to teachers & students.
