Presents a study designed to determine whether or not a child’s “animism” score & his “death” score decrease as he gets older, & to discover if a common rationale binds the concepts of life & death during each stage of development. Findings show that there is a positive relationship between life- & death-concept formation & that the stages are parallel in their development.
