Multivariate analysis is used to study the effects of the family on the suicide rate of 52 nations of the world. 15 varibles (e.g. percent labor force in agriculture, density of nation per square kilometer, school enrollment ratio, female employment, sex ratio, percent population young males 15-29) are taken into consideration & detailed findings are presented. 23 refs.
