The article discusses county wide integrated services delivered through St. Vincent Charity Hospital and Health Center. These services deal with mental health emergencies, telephone intervention and outreach. All other hospitals in the county are involved. Those in crisis (such as those with thoughts of suicide) are assessed and courses of action determined.
