Suicide in the Young: Demographic Data of College-Age Students in a Rural State

Demographic data from death certificates of suicides of young persons in a rural state seem to indicate that there are very few differences between those who are listed as “students” and those who are not. However, students commit suicide less frequently on weekends and show a statistically lower relative incidence of suicide as compared to “nonstudents”.
