In this summarized paper the authors discuss the evaluation of a school suicide prevention program implemented by Suicide Action Montreal & designed to reach the high risk adolescent age group. They concluded that schoool milieu was now sensitive & educated concerning suicide, myths, detection & intervention; resources were available & well trained to respond accurately, & noted that 55% of the 100 teens who consulted the key conveners team were detected by a peer.
