He discusses white & Hispanic suicide rates, noting the higher incidence for Hispanic youth; the limitations of the schools with regard to detection; suicide assessment instruments & the lack of translations for Spanish speaking youth; the need for the family therapist to determine the level of acculturation, & for teen group therapy to involve other Hispanic teenagers.
