Humane & Dignified Death Act

This article outlines the proposed Humane & Dignigied Death Act, an initiative to be placed on the November 1988 California ballot, & provides examples of the pros & cons included in the report to the American Association of Suicidologists (AAS) e.g. pros: brings the law into accord with reality, doctors & families who act from compassion are not conspirators & criminals; cons: there is a possibility of impaired choice by patients which would lead to deaths they do not really desire.
