Suicide rates in Denmark, Finland, Norway & Sweden for the past few years are presented. Despite the fact that the Nordic countries, both historically & at present, have many features in common, differences between the countries in the frequency of suicide are pronounced. These differences & the reliability of Nordic suicide statistics are discussed.
