The author examined risk factors associated with adolescent suicide attempts. Subjects were 50 hospitalized & 315 non-hospitalized adolescents, aged 13-18, split into 4 groups: hospitalized attempters, hospitalized non-attempters, High School non-attempters, & High School attempters. Data was gathered by means of 6 self-report measures: Data was analyzed using a correlation matrix,T-tests, MRA’S & DFA’S. Suicidals had more depression, hopelessness, less family cohesion & adaptability. (NBB)
