This letter to the Editor comments on recent studies that have shown that the ability to carry out a suicide attempt is associated with electrodermal hyporesponsivity. Thorell & D’Elia believe that this test may become an important noninvasive & nonverbal additive source of prediction in the clinical assessment of suicide risk in depressed patients. (NBB)
