The contact group receive a telephone call or a brief letter monthly for 4 months, bi-monthly for 8 months, or tri-monthly for 48 months. Follow-up statistics to date (18 months) are inconclusive. The authors estimate a 5-year period as a minimum time to demonstrate effect.
