This paper reports a case of adult Reye’s Syndrome in a 40-year-old female who had a history of alcoholism, drug overdoses & depression. She was initially diagnosed as a drug overdose but plasma ammonia levels & a liver biopsy revealed Reye’s Syndrome. The patient recovered & was discharged on the 10th day. 26 Refs. (NBB)
