Eddy D M~~Wolpert R L~~Rosenberg M L
The authors describe the use of a model to analyze the effectiveness of 6 major types of interventions for decreasing youth suicide, & the use of a questionnaire to solicit the estimates of experts about factors that determine the effectiveness of those interventions. Examined were: affective education, early identification, school-based screening programs, crisis centres & hotlines, improved training of caregivers, & restricted access to firearms, medications, & high places. 13 Refs.
