This study addresses the issue of accuracy in the reporting of suicide by the Canadian Government, Dept. of Vital Statistics. Using a basic method of combining suicide rates and undetermined deaths & comparing resultant rates to published statistics, the authors demonstrate several possible areas of underreporting. (NBB)
