This is an extensive study of suicide among children & adolescents, the result of initial research & follow-up studies conducted by the author from 1955-69. Original subjects were Swedish children & adolescents under 21 years of age. Several conclusions are drawn: the influence of environment is of primary concern to the author, who claims that suicidal children & adolescents generally live in an environment that is a strain to them & often involves disturbed relationships to adults (parents).
