Hislop T G~~et al
Accidental & intentional violent deaths were examined among B.C. registered Indians from 1953-1978 using death registrations. For registered Indians, accidental deaths were 4 to 5 times as common; homicidal deaths were 10 times as common. These rates pertain to both men & women. The specific causes of accidental deaths are discussed.
