Results from an American Association of Suicidology survey of U.S. & Canadian school-based suicide programs include data on program size, content, & involvement with teacher training, peer support, crisis intervention,or screening programs.37.2% of the classroom programs did not have procedures for identifying & referral of students. Only 42.6% had written evaluation procedures. A typical classroom suicide prevention program is described. Report calls for the development of minimum standards.
