Youth Suicide Prevention and the Public-Private Sector Partnership: Florida State Plan

Legislation passed by the State of Florida gave the Florida Dept. of HRS the responsibility of developing a state plan for youth suicide. The philosophy behind the plan is that the issue is not only adolescent suicide but also children in crisis. Eleven district plans were received by the task force & the state-wide plan will be presented to the legislature for funding during the forthcoming session. (NBB)
