Dr. O’Connor outlines the plans the State of California has developed in its campaign to prevent youth suicide. These include a mandate for all public schools to develop prevention programs & the expansion of existing programs. A tentative 5-year youth suicide prevention program to be launched by the California DMH is also presented. (NBB)
