The purpose of this study was to discover if there is a relationship between suicidal adolescent girls & borderline phenomena, & to examine separation anxiety in suicidal girls. Hansburg’s Separation Anxiety Test & Gunderson’s Diagnostic Interview for Borderline Disorder were administered to 40 adolescent girls who had attempted suicide. The findings suggested that adolescent suicide is a borderline phenomena.
