This article describes an educational program on teen suicide developed by the Folger Shakespeare Theatre & The Youth Suicide National Center in Washington, D.C.. The program, entitled “Romeo & Juliet, A Dramatic Approach to Prevention of Youth Suicide”, is intended for use by teachers & counselors to discourage suicide & teach coping skills. This article outlines the 5 sections of the program, gives an example of how teachers can apply exercises & concludes with a list of warning signs.(C.H)
